Stuart has Ripley and Skaneateles as allied. Indy map has them and full. I wonder which is correct?
Looks like allied, that map needs some work! Ripley is really cool for a smaller place, short but steep.

I'm pleased that Dartmouth has been added. Never skied there.

WB would have been nice, but they're so close to failing, I just assume pay for tickets there directly.

Whaleback was added…
I’m glad Whaleback made it after leaving our pass. As far as I know, as of last Wednesday, that wasn’t the case. Perhaps Indy decided to make themselves look a little better by adding them last minute. If nothing else, I’m glad this situation helped get Whaleback on the pass. It will certainly help them out. Just wish it all went down differently.

Whaleback can definitely use the revenue that comes from a bump in skier traffic. So much so, that they really could’ve used the increased traffic that would’ve resulted from the sale of both of these passes. This situation still doesn’t make any sense to me.

Agreed. But I do understand, Indy Pass is running a business and they are trying to protect their house. They have every right to demand exclusivity. I personally wouldn’t run a business by putting my partners in that position the way they did. But then again what do I know, Indy is much bigger than our pass so they have done something right.

Size is certainly no indicator of right or wrong.

So it's not an RFID card? What's the point of getting this rather than just using photo ID?
It is an RFID card ( explicitly stated at https://www.indyskipass.com/shop/indy-base-pass where it also mentions “direct-to-lift access at select Indy resorts” ) But not sure if any of the Indy ski areas that use RFID have integrated it into their scanning systems yet ? Even without that, the new cards should speed things up at the ticket window because they no longer have to type in the name of every Indy pass holder ahead of you in line.

It is RFID from Entibani Systems, the owners of Indy. It will be direct to lift at the resorts that use Entabani, Cannon for sure, and Magic as well, new this season. I thought the system was terrible at Cannon last season with crazy long lines and long wait times at the window.
