Thanks for the update...

Yep. This is their canned response. They just didn't see the right conditions to blow snow on the lower mountain last night/today. Hopefully it will cool down enough tonight. Maybe Saturday...Joshua said:Official word from the Big K is “WE [Killington] PLAN ON OPENING AS SOON AS WE ARE ABLE TO PROVIDE A QUALTY TOP-TO-BOTTOM PRODUCT. AT THIS TIME WE ARE WAITING FOR OPTIMAL SNOWMAKING TEMPERATURES FOR PRODUCING MAN-MADE SNOW TO CREATE QUALITY CONDITIONS AT THE BASE OF THE MOUNTAIN.”

I am totally with you there. This is huge for Wildcat. 1st in the East and what 3rd in the US or something like that (who can confirm this)? Amazing. This year will go down in the record books. Anyone know Wildcat's earliest opening and latest closing date?
riverc0il said:you know austin, that is an INCREDIBLY good point i have never considered about kmart's claims. if they are going to claim 3000 verts, they really can't call k1 top to bottom skiing. well they can, they just aren't being completely honest.

anyone got a link to that?
