Driving to work through the snow this morning gave me the taste of what i have been working for all summer.
I am ramping up my exercise over the next couple of weeks. It wont be long now.

You?

I added free weights over the weekend. Picked up some dumb bells and working on some lunges etc as well as upper body stuff. Of course my rowing machine is about to shit the bed now, which is a bummer.

I'm looking forward to being in 'decent' shape come ski season. I've never been much for working out and typically just ski myself into shape, but that's getting more and more difficult each year.

More important to get your snow brush properly stowed and boots near the door...

This of course assumes the ski/board gear is pre-staged in a scramble pack near the door........

Ramped up at the beginning of September. Lost 10lbs so far.

Try to do 2 hours at the gym each night, but it's essentially determined by what time I leave work. Gym closes at 8, so I need to get out of work by 5:30 at the latest to drive over, change, and stretch in time to have enough time at the end to stretch again and change for the drive home.

good for you man, that's pretty hard core. I'm happy with myself if I get in a 30-40 minute work out 3/4 days a week
I hear ya! Mondeo, you should be proud!

After all the madness over the last week and a half, I was a good girl and did my Yoga Booty Ballet tonight. Laugh all you want but that balance, core work, and stretching will be quite useful for ski season. Tomorrow I'm planning on taking the kids out in the double jogger... not sure if I'll be running the whole time, but I will at least be doing intervals.
