if you're a meteorologist.

I'm not one, but as far as I'm concerned, summer's here...had to start using the AC at home.

I for one have mixed feelings...I'd rather have the cold (or even cool) weather and I do want to get back out skiing, but the kids are almost out of school and it is nice to see everything all green.

LOL

I think I could have tolerated this summer if I had more days in the winter. I usually get in about 25 to 30. The bad winter and a busy time at work limited me to about 15 days. Every time I got out was great but I just felt the season went by so quickly.

I just hate it when its like 80 degrees. 60 is perfect. If its 80 its to hot to bike and suff. I get bored and overheated. The only thing good when its 80 is the wakeboarding will be nice.

Fall used to be my favorite season in New England...but that was "before skiing". 8)

Let's try to stay positive...at least summers are not always humid in New England like it tends to be from NYC south...

Summer sucks. Now, if it were 60-70, no humidity, and no freaking mosquitos around, it would be great. Unfortunately, we can only enjoy that in April and October.

The only good thing about summer is thunderstorms. They are awesome.

Well, as for "officially" summer...I jumped in the pool last night when I got home from work. I had to get my "May" pool ticket punched. It was 54F when I opened it up on Saturday....70F last night.

Speaking of the heat/humidity....Hoops @ Lunch today was absolutely brutal.

I'll be happy if I don't see another drop of rain for 2 months.

Unfortunately we're going to be measuring the rain in inches again the next few days.

Sky I jumped in the Pool on Monday making the May deal also. Well I floated around most of time drinking beer and napping. It was 70 though. 54 is not in the plan ever.

Played tennis last weekend in the sun, heat and humidity and it was wonderful. I love to run around and get all sweaty. Hiking in the warm weather, too. It's great to work all the poison out. Winter is dark and cold. I only enjoy it when I am physically standing in my bindings.

My native American name is now officially "He Who Swims Upstream"..........:)

Long live the summer of '06!!!!

HEH! Absolutely. I got "pushed in" in Bar Harbor on a Scout trip back in the day. E-frickin-Gad! I have no idea what the temp was...but it was much colder than ANY water I had ever experienced...and I grew up going to Natasket Beach (your feet were numb and your knees ached...and you had to walk forever to get deep enough to dunk).

Childhood memories of going to the beach always involve wearing a frickin sweatshirt.

So, whne I put my hand into the pool Saturday...I knew there was no way I'd be in the pool during the weekend. I was very surprised that the temp got to 70F by Tuesady PM though...70F was plenty refreshing....plenty.
