Planning last minute trip with 6-8 guys to Jackson Hole 2nd week of March. This will be the group's first time here so we want to do it right. 1/2 of the group is going for a full week and the other 1/2 is going for 4 days. Where do you suggest staying where we can get a few rooms or small condos that are convenient to bars & restaurants? Most of the guys like having easy access to nightlife so we figure downtown is better than the village. Any input is greatly appreciated!!

Snow King is good and you can ski at night. If you want cheap try the 49'er and there are other motels too. The BW is a good place and close to downtown. Breakfast is included.

Staying in Jackson and using the START bus to get out to the village is a good plan. Check out Cowboy Village Resort, a bunch of cabins in a good location. Across the street from a big grocery/liquor store, 3 blocks to the Jackson Town Square. There are also some condos in the same location at the bottom of Pearl St, can't remember the name. Getting a condo with a full kitchen can be helpful.

You could also get a couple of 2br condos out at Teton Village and take the bus into Jacson for partying. The Mangy Moose in the village is a fun place too. Gros Ventre or Tensleep units are the most reasonably priced.

If you are there on a Sunday night, partying at the Stagecoach Bar in Wilson is legendary.

Took this pic 25 years ago, Snow King has more night terrain open now.

I stayed at the 49'er last year. It's very reasonable. And for the price, it's surprisingly good!

All the restuarants are within a block or two so access to night life is good.
