Some nights I just feel like I'm skiing just b/c I'm addicted. Last night was one of those nights that explains why I really am addicted. After watching snow hover over the Berks on the radar all day, I decided that night skiing was in order. Got on the hill around 7:00 PM and there was soft snow all over the place. They must've picked up at least 4 - 6 inches in spots throughout the day. First run down the Foxes found sweet powder bumps that had to be at least shin deep if you blasted through them. Next was Whitetail which, like North Glade had sweet soft bumps and deep blower pow all along the edges. The snow was so soft and deep, I wondered to myself whether anyone had really been there during the day. The whole night was simply amazing...even though the troughs were scraped out by 9:00PM. We skied all the way to the last chair at 10:30 and despite getting in at least 17,000' vertical (I honestly lost count of how many runs we got in), the night ended all too soon. Driving back through the snow storm towards the Hudson Valley, I was haunted by flashbacks of the entire evening, leaving me to wonder, whether it really happened, or was it all just a dream. The sweet soreness in my legs is great affirmation that last night, as fleeting as it may have been was indeed real. It's awesome out there right now folks. No joke.

Believe it or not, but Monday night was icy compared to last night. We should hook up for some turns sometime Red...sounds like you're over there quite a bit.
