JIMINY PEAK MOUNTAIN RESORT RAISES $13,500 FOR HURRICANE IRENE RELIEF
The money will be split and donated to the American Red Cross Hurricane Irene relief efforts and to year-round employees of sister resort Bromley Mountain who were directly affected by the storm.
Hancock, MA: Over the weekends of September 10th & 11th and September 17th & 18th visitors to Mountain Adventure at Jiminy Peak were helping a great cause while enjoying the Parks. A percentage of the ticket sales from those weekends are being donated to Hurricane Irene relief efforts. In total, $13,500 was raised and will be split evenly between the American Red Cross Hurricane Irene relief fund and year-round employees of sister resort Bromley Mountain, located outside Manchester, VT, who were directly impacted by the storm. Thanks to all who came out to Jiminy and helped raise money for those who are struggling with the effects of Hurricane Irene.
