With the nice comfy nighttime temps, and the arrival of powder boards, the Jonesn'-ometer went up to a 10 this weekend. Unhealthy at best.

Took out the whole ski quiver, and realized what I already knew, I hadn't turned down the babies or waxed them last spring. A little incident got in the way. Well, I turned the babies over and much to my surprise, the cores were in pretty good shape.

So, I turned them down, and waxed all three, tucked them back into bed for a couple more months. Hope to maybe do a little hiking in the nice cool, bug-free days of fall to take my mind off the misery of it all. Life was much simpler before AZ ;)

It's gonna be a long two months...

Why would the core get damaged for not being taken care of. Where they that bad after last season?

I am sitting here at my home (elevation 8K ft.) it has been raining all day which means it has been snowing up high. Can't wait to see the mountains as soon as the clouds clear away!

I hit some nasties spring skiing and then put them away, without even looking at them! How's that for TLC?

Uck. Hard to really tell if they're going to be damaged or not. They stored someplace really dry? Depending on the core, not sure how you'd tell how much moisture got in over the summer.
