With the nice comfy nighttime temps, and the arrival of powder boards, the Jonesn'-ometer went up to a 10 this weekend. Unhealthy at best.
Took out the whole ski quiver, and realized what I already knew, I hadn't turned down the babies or waxed them last spring. A little incident got in the way. Well, I turned the babies over and much to my surprise, the cores were in pretty good shape.
So, I turned them down, and waxed all three, tucked them back into bed for a couple more months. Hope to maybe do a little hiking in the nice cool, bug-free days of fall to take my mind off the misery of it all. Life was much simpler before AZ
It's gonna be a long two months...
