I don't have to report tommorrow :) Guess it's off to the golf course to swing the clubs for the 1st time this year, which isn't a bad thing considering I'm playing in a charity tournament on Friday and I'm my 4some's "A" player.

Oh, and probably a bit of post whoring ;)

Once in Vermont and there is no getting off for self employed. I was told to close my business or get a $250 per day fine. VT has a fine system. You are "on call" for 1 year and need to go through 3 jury draws before being dismissed. My fun little adventure went like this, the first draw 2 days of utter boredom was selected for one trial and booted for the second as I knew the arresting officer. The trial took about 4 hours the loser on trial admitted to doing that "acts" that he was on trial for but saw nothing wrong with it. We go back to diliberate and people start hemming and hawing, so I step up and say we are supposed to decide if he did x, y, z. He said he did x, y, z so lets vote now and see where we stand. Took vote and we were done in 5 minutes.
Then got called in for another 2 day draw got onto the draw for a murder trial they said could go months said I not only read about it in the paper but spoke to rescue personnel and had no doubt about the case, the defense had me out of there fast.

yeah dude... think about it.. they are trapped with you in the same room for a few days...

I guess but in an average Jury..there's 6 or 7 women...and a few of them are probably elderly..and a few are most likely busted so you might get one hottie..although there are some elderly hotties..mmmm..

Been on two juries, total count, about 3 college age women, the rest were middle age moms.

One time my wife served when she was 7 month pregnant, the clerk (?) was deciding between two jury panels for a lengthy trail; hers and another. When the bailiff saw how she stood out, he went out to talk to someone then came back and dismissed her whole group. Most in her group were thanking her.
