Trip Report:First time posting a trip report...figured if my brother in law <kingslug> could do it..why can i? Bear with me....LOL. Havent been up to K in 4 years and was thrilled with the skiing we had for 3 days. Got up there with my kids Monday evening to howling winds and very cold. Weather for next 3 days was to be warmer...not that i mind...i will ski in just about anything. Woke to warmer temps and headed over to K. Excellent conditions to be found. on all areas of the mountain. Was to be skiing with my 13 yr old while my 9 yr old went into the SuperStars ski camp for 3 days. Took some runs with the 2 of them on Rams Head from 8am to 9am each morning to get her warmed up. I have never seen 2 kids so excited to get to the mountain in the morning. Little on wanted to be the first on the lift line so there we were on the Rams Head Quad each morning at 7:45am. Nice soft snow to be found all over. Header, Swirl and the others on Rams Head were really nice. Took a few runs and then she went to camp. Headed over to K Peak with the 13 yr old and found nice soft moguls and powder even almost a week after the V day storm. Ridge Run was one of his favs, as was everything around the Canyon area. I think my son was trying to kill me all 3 days we skied. See, i am what i consider and advanced skier...like to do a bit of moguls here and there...steeps scare the hell out of me, but i will do them with him...but he wanted to do EVERYTHING!!! So i did. And i loved every minute of it!! Did Cascade, Escapade and damn near every run at the peak and at Bear except Outer Limits. It is such a good feeling to see my kids getting better and better everytime we go skiing. I kept up with the 13 yr old pretty well seeing as i will soon be 40. And my daughter got moved up twice in her groups because she was out skiing the rest of her group. Also ventured into Squeeze play in the trees for some fun...had some anxiety going in there as it was the sight of my accident where i tore my MCL in my knee 4 yrs ago...i know...what a wimp i am...i got hurt in a Blue Square glade...haha. Crowds were pretty light for Presidents week. Cant wait to go back...here are some pics i took with a crappy camera...
