Is this JerseyGuy from Killingtonzone?

no man, never a post over there and I'm totally just messin' ;). Killington topics on here are like the tabloids at the check out counter at the grocery store. Highly entertaining, especially for those who don't have a vested interest in the topic.

Having the season passes valid through early May is not really saying that they are extending the season through early May. It certainly sounds better than having a pre-determined mid April closing date like last year. I'll give ya that. I guess many will be happy if they do stay open into May but I thought most Powdr haters won't be happy until they stay open until early June like during the " stupidstar" era. Most in kzone do seem to be softening abit on the anti-Powdr posts.

I could care less if they're open in May. End of April is fine. The people that think there's any chance in hell that K will be open till Memorial weekend again are insane...

We're not out of the woods yet.....they still haven't announced a revised closing date for this year, or improvements for next year, if any.....

Given the current state of the economy, even with a good year this year, I'd highly doubt that very many(if any at all) areas will be doing more than just basic maintenance/buy a few new snowguns/maybe get a new groomer kind of stuff. The credit markets appear to be just WWWAAAYYY to tight right now for a ski area to get a few million $$'s, and I'd bet that many a ski area general manager/owner will choose to sit on this seasons (likely) operating profits since we very likely haven't seen the worst of the financial crisis yet

Oh, I understand now, it's kind of like Sundown. ;)

Unless everyone can get completely smashed at BMMC on their own booze, none of this matters. And there better be an early buyer discount on the blackout, mine only cost $600 this year. Plus there are more blackout dates. I might have to switch to Okemo for next year.

Never met someone that has had a pass to Killington that could spend the next season at Okemo.

The blackout is the same ( $649 ) as this season for early purchase. There were 15 blackout days and now there's 17. Don't know what the extra 2 are, but I'm sure I wouldn't be there anyway since we don't come up on holidays. The blackout and midweek are not discounted because they are already competitively priced (what I was told by K)...

Pennsyl-tucky saying something about Jerze?

new low...

People in the Lehigh Valley always hate on Dirty Jersey..we assume all bad drivers are from Jersey and it costs 75 cents to enter PA on 22 and 78 but it's free to drive in NJ..
