Joshua is right. It is impossible for the temp to be lower than the dewpoint. Something has to give. Either the dew point must drop for the temp to drop more, or the temp stays there. Dew point is not really a measured feature like temperature. Dew point is more of a math formula. Therefore due to the standards of the formula, the temp stays at or above the dewpoint. Dewpoint is a measure of what the temp at the current conditions must drop to for humidity to reach 100% or total saturization. The humidity does not go above 100%, which means it is impossible for the temp to be lower.

FYI- I plan to major in meteorology, so I know this stuff

FYI: WCAX reports a temp of 35 degrees F in Rutland, VT, closest area to K-mart. Lots of schools closed due to power outages as well...

VLS lost power yesterday at 10 and never regained it until after 5pm.

Dont they generate their own power for the gun with those HUGE DIESEL engines over at snowshed? I thought thats what those were for? That and to pump water most likely?

K never had plans to run the guns last night. With 15,000 feet of new pipe, they need to make sure everything is set and ready before charging the system. According to my source, look for the mouse patch maybe next week or more likely the week after...

Sorry, guys - it's not here yet.

whaleback

hey guys, thanks. Yes, Whaleback is at the most ten minutes from me. My wife and I used to ski afterwork because it was close and didn't want to go to Pats Peak (night skiing). Its nice to see that someone is going to get it back running this season. I always said that to run that mountain you needed to make it a four season mountain.

Welcome. You're about 25 mins from me...I'm in Wilder so if you wanna ski or hike, PM me. Any more info on Whaleback? Like Burke, there has been a 'gag order' of sorts.

Hey trailboss. I work in Wilder. Anyways, If you go to Whalebacks webpage you can see what the perspective plans are for the mountain. Freestyle and Alpine training with camps in the winter. Downhill mtn bike in the summer etc...So, know of any biking in Wilder, Norwich area. I found a few things that I could ride right from work, but nothing outstanding.
