It's been a long time since I've skied Killington but does that lift even have lines on it? Do they even run it midweek? It is a good one to lap but seems underutilized but maybe that's changed.I guess bear would be pretty short. It just feels very old and slow to me.
I stand by canyon tho. Thatโs some of the terrain I want to lap the most with one of the slowest coldest lifts to do so

It doesnโt have lines bc itโs cold and slow and people ski the run out to k1. I donโt like waiting for k1 and taking my skis off and I donโt need the top 200 feet off the top. Iโd love for canyon to be faster, whether or not itโs a detach. I donโt like bubbles generally but wouldnโt be opposed there. Itโs really fucking cold and thatโs prime k peak steeps and trees access without the dumb runoutIt's been a long time since I've skied Killington but does that lift even have lines on it? It's been a hot minute since I've skied there but I'm right there with you that lift serves some really good stuff and I also dislike taking skis off and riding the gondola. It doesnโt have lines bc itโs cold and slow and people ski the run out to k1. Superstar and Snowshed must be getting worn.Imo none of the fixed grips at K are in need of upgrades. A new Ramshead lift should be the first priority, as well as a Skyeship overhaul. After that, Superstar and Snowshed should be looked at.
Plus they likely run more through the year than any other lifts on the mountain so by hours they are even older than they are by years.Superstar and Snowshed must be getting worn.
Surprised SS goes more than Snowshed or Ramshead. Supe runs late November to early June, Ramshead runs year round except for early/mid May and late October/NovemberLast I spoke with someone in terms of hours per year it goes: K1, SS, Snowshed (due to mountain biking), RH (due to mountain biking), North Ridge, Skyeship Stage 2, Skye Peak Express, Skyeship Stage 1, Northbrook Quad, then take your pick for what's left.

Superstar goes live once the snowmaking for WC starts up. Check out the webcams once they start blowing that, it's pretty much always moving.
