Was laid off tuesday..not a terrible thing... we are financialy set for winter,seasons passes,gas money put away..11 weeks severance ..405 a wk unemployment...now i just bumped into my nyc office and taking off till 12/5 "could walk in and get laid off again"so i would have been skiing from now till 12/4 except no snow...three things could happen"listed as a christmas list"
1.new layoff procedure may get me double severance"winter off"ski 100 plus days
2.old lay off procedure 11 weeks..ski 100 plus days
3.keep job carryover 2 weeks vacation get 4 new as of 1/1...ski 45-60 days

The credit scoring system is corrupt...a LOT of garbage in = garbage showing.
A good percentage of corporate America management would rather hire slave labor....and just "get by" as long as their credit score is perfect..ie they stay at home watching television....and not doing anything that might jeopardize their perfect credit rating.
Everything you've ever done could, at the next interview, be spun to sound like something that the corrupt, dumbxxx doing the interviewing, might have heard from some wacko, that absolutely hates you...at a bar the night before! Corporate America does not operate by high standards...
WOW...hey lighten up Steve!..;-)....Well, I just wanted to remind ya' of today's reality...when you do get ready to re-enter the workforce, song & dance are unfortunately a large part of the hiring process. It only takes one a-hole to sink you...during their group talk after your interview(s).
