If WVU wins out, including this coming Saturday vs. UConn, and Oklahoma wins out, including Big 12 Championship vs. Kansas, WVU likely goes to National Championship game.

Go Oklahoma.

Now im a Uconn fan but they are not in the same class as WV, they had some lucky breaks this year and are probably in over their heads, it kinda reminds me of South Florida last year, out of nowhere. I do believe Uconn will be a big time college football team in 5yrs, just not yet but its fun and nice to see i went to a game this year , good times.

Game day. I'm just hoping that the Mountaineers don't look too far ahead going into today's game with UCan't. With LSU losing last night (my other alma mater, by the way, but as far as football goes that doesn't count), WVU has a strong chance of playing in the National Championship game if they run the table against UConn today and Pitt next week. Go Mountaineers!!

That Lsu game was great to watch, i was a little disappointed in watching the Hawaii Boise game i really thought they would combine for over 100points together, sounds crazy but not with both of them. I just hope Uconn puts up a good showing today but unfortunately i see something like 38-17

Well WV is leading this game at the half , Uconn has had a few mishaps on offense but their defense has been rather impressive against WV, the score should be alot closer than it is, at least their not embarrassing themselves.. I knew they were a bit in over their heads in this game, on the other side of things WV doesnt seem to be clicking on all cylindars.

Ummm ok its now 66-14 with 8minutes to go , WV is now clicking on all cylinders lol. I feel about Uconn how i felt about South Florida last year, too much too quick, both teams will be a force in yrs to come but it really was just too soon, WV impressed me but if they ever play a quick defense they are done.

Well....
Good try, UConn. The Mountaineers had to do the knock-down and knee-to-the-chest against someone. Sorry you guys had to be in the wrong place at the right time. So much now depends on what happens with Kansas and Mizzu. I do think that either of them will have a real tough time against Oklahoma in the Big 12 Championship next week. Might wind up being WVU-Ohio State in BCS Championship Game.

Regardless, I won't give up my Colorado trip to go to New Orleans.

You win :( My Huskies played decent for 30 minutes, but unfortunately its a 60 minute game and you guys played great and had the athletes. Good luck in the BCS and hopefully you'll be hosting whatever the heck they're calling the national championship trophy these days!

umm....maybe 20 minutes

:)

All kidding aside, UConn surprised everyone by how well they played this season. The national ranking and the TV exposure will be beneficial down the road as it leads to better recruiting. Just like Rutgers, the Huskies will do well if some of the "home-grown" talent stays home and plays rather than flees for the historically stronger programs elsewhere. We are starting to see more parity in NCAA football, which is great for the sport.

More likely than not, you'll still kick our butts in b-ball.....

Yes the b-ball program is elite not ranked yet but right up there with Duke and NC for the last 15yrs

What an absolute choke job, i mean seriously is Hawaii gonna be playing in the BCS game, does anybody actually want to play in the game.

Is Hawaii the only undefeated Division 1 team left?

They should be ranked #1.

Yes, all in all, a good run. Started season projected at #3. maybe with a good showing in Fiesta Bowl, that can come to fruition. Unless we get our sh*t into one pile and play the game we're capable of though, Oklahoma might make us look awful silly.

*shrug*

Just a little over 2 months until pitchers and catchers report.......
