Anyone one got any ways to get lift grease out of your ski clothes?

I got some lift grease on my pants while skiing at The cat in October. I tries, Tide, Simple green, Shout and I can't get it out. Any suggestions?

i've had some run ins with the bobcat chair. dirty ole' riblet needs a lot of grease to turn. i got some grease from the bobcat before. one of my friends had a jacket REALLY greased up. she talked to management at the cat and they paid for the cleaning bill so it could be taken to a professional.

damn, i wonder just how many people have this happen to them at the cat!?!?!? i have never heard of it happening any where else.

Go to the hardware store and get some lacquer thinner. Apply a little to to a hidden area to make sure it won't fade the color (this has never happened to me) Then apply liberally to the area in question. Wash, rinse, repeat as needed.

btw, it helps to lean forward on known greasers. the grease usually falls onto the back of the chair, usually the center one from what i have noticed there.

I've seen the grease showers at many other resorts other than Wildcat...happens alot at Hunter too.

Stuff is a real pain to get off; I always resist bringing waterproof garments to a dry cleaner; the chemicals just are not good for those types of textiles.

I'm always getting grease on my work attire from one particular piece of machinery I work with. Stuff is darn near impossible to get out with ordinary cleaners. I haven't tried the laquer thinner, but have found some of the citrus-based cleaners will remove the majority of the mess.

I like the "badge of honor". We're all "well decorated" soldiers where I work.

If you notice it on the slope, slap some snow on it immediately, the water will help displace the grease. Little ski instructors trick being we have to keep our uniform jackets free of grime.
