Hey Everyone,
First things first. Many thanks to Greg for allowing me to post this info on the alpinezone.com site. I am VERY excited to be a member of this community.
This Saturday I'll be running 35 Miles on the Kancamagus Highway from Conway (Start-Jct. of 112 and 16) to Lincoln (Finish-White Mountain Visitors Center).
now some of you are saying... is he CRAZY?!
In a word... YES. But why am I crazy?
Well... on October 8th my family and the rest of the team will be walking in the Walk for Diabetes in Manchester, NH and we have a goal to work toward in raising money for this event.
So with that being said.. all along the Kanc on Saturday from 8am till I finish, the team will be out there in Red Shirts and a red mitsubishi in an effort to raise money for the Walk for Diabetes.
This is NOT a Team Sherpa event, nor does Team Sherpa benefit from this financially in ANY way. Some of you know of the unfortunate circumstanced TS has been left in over the last week that we are currently trying to fix. But we march forth with our mission as a family.. to raise money for diabetes.
I hope you'll help us and if not.. please stop and give my support team a high five. Honk your horn as you drive by or just plain ole make some noise!
Thank you
Sherpa (white rabbit) John
