Resort or Ski Area: Lost Valley

Conditions: PP / LG

Trip Report: Very fun time at Lost Valley. Not too many trip reports about Lost Valley on here... Lost Valley is a small community hill in Auburn, Maine. 250 Feet of vertical serviced by a couple of chairs. Great place for beginners to learn as there are many easy runs down the mountain. A decent terrain park and a couple of short trails with good pitch to link some turns on. Boy #1 Middle school team practices here weekly.

We clicked in when the chairs opened around 10 and the snow was quite good. Nice PP conditions. We spent most of the day bonking around the terrain park enjoying the mid-30's weather and relatively uncrowded conditions. We got three hours of skiing in throughly enjoying ourselves.

We buy a Ski Maine passbook that gets us 4 tickets to the alpine hills in Maine so its a good excuse to see some of the smaller places. If there is snow and it goes downhill... it always seems to be fun.
