I brownbag. Once in a while I treat myself though....not often.I used to strictly brown bag. But I've gotten lazy these past few years (or decidedly less poor, or perhaps both) so I more frequently pay $12 for a burger, fries, and beverage. I am inclined to get back into bringing my own lunch more for health reasons than for financial, we'll see if I can get my butt in gear this winter.
Brown Bag. Well cooler. With 4 of us every weekend usually twice a weekend buying lunch is rare. I do love grilling out in the lot but I rarely make it back on the slopes if we do that.
unless you're a chili snob from TX, canned chili is pretty consistent across the board.
True. I'd feel better about a can, but a lot of that stuff comes out of a big plastic BAG.

How does that work out in the main lodge at Gunstock? Is there a separate brown bag area? The section with cafeteria and upstairs balcony seemed to get pretty packed the one weekend day I skied there last winter.
It does get pretty busy but if you time it right the crowds are less. Our kids do Mt Mashers at 12:30 do we always head in early. We also will bring the cooler backpack up to Panorama Pub on our first run and eat in there. That worked out well.
