Whats the deal? How was it??

Could I use my splitboard or is it all hiking?

Even though a lot of people there had randonee, tele, and split boards we all hiked with or sticks on our back. The bonus about skiing that weekend is that they don't powder farm like they do the rest of the year but you only get to ski at the bottom or top inorder to get into or out of an area that needs to be boot packed. I got some amazing turns in that weekend in bottomless blower but I also had to posthole through waist deep blower which pretty much sucked. I'd say its worth it if you were in driving distance but I don't know if I would fly out for it. You are basically working for a free day of skiing later in the year or are there to support them and what they are trying to do.

I'm a big fan of the place - havent been yet - but followed it closely...
Would love to do it one year...
