i heard there was some work done this summer, but based on the last known first person report i heard, i doubt the lift will be spinning this coming season.

River is talking about the mid-mountain or blue lift that Magic has been installing over th past two Summers. I expect that Magic will be open and running the red lift and perhaps the black lift at some point in December.

The obvious answer is this is discussed almost daily on the NELSAP board.

Many NELSAP board topics are "adopted" on this board.

Sorry, but someone had to state the obvious.

thanks talisman for jumping in there with the clarification, i should have been more specific in my post. i had assumed the question was regarding the blue lift and not the two summit lifts. good point from josh, lots of first hand sources post about magic over on nelsap forum on a very regular basis, if you do a search you'll find a lot of info.

As of Sunday, Towers in place, driver terminal partially in place, but no significantly observable changes to report. The ops guys had been working on some other projects and I had heard they were waiting to hear from the engineer.

The trails have been closely mowed several times. I don't know when they last got the crews in to hit the stuff that can;t be mowed to hit it with the weed whackers and hand tools, I couldn't tell from the base.

Think snow
