Yikes, that's too young to go. R.I.P.

Must have been something major to die so suddenly, like a heart attack, burst aneurysm, etc. Reminds me I've got to step up on my conditioning.

Must have happened right after I left. The name sounds awful familiar but I can't place it.From the way I felt out there, heat exhaustion might have played a part.

Since he was found at 4:40pm, well after last chair, is it possible he was just sitting on a chair after closing when he passed away?

Man had a heart attack on a Camelback chair this past winter. In his case he was off loaded and survived. Sorry to hear this man did not make it.

Yeah I couldn't tell if it was after hours, if he was stuck on the lift, or if it just got to the top and the operator saw a motionless guy on the lift?

Its amazing to me how many people still ski with full bib ski pants and parkas when temps are well above freezing. I was skiing in single layers and still working up a sweat.

I wonder, though if we'll even hear what the cause of death was. Massive coronary still seems most likely. He was the perfect age for it.

Also a reminder to me, especially since I'm the same age...

RIP I sorry for his family and friends, at least he was most likely having fun on the hill.

Just talked to my buddy who is on Patrol. He was the first responder. He said he just swept above the ski area to the Lookout deck on the very top.He says I know the guy but I can't place him yet.All I got out of him was that the time was right after the Cannonball closed and he was on that lift.I post with more when I hear.

Possible he died on the lift and went around the top without the lifty noticing and was on the way back down when they shut down the lift?
