Sunday River usually waits till Fall Festival (Next Sat) before putting on the display, but with KMart's recent activity, Boyne might go into stealth mode. Unless the guns are on, it's very hard to see the snow up on Locke during the day unless you're a ways from the mountain.

Killington will make snow to open anytime after 10-15. Got that from a VERY reliable source!

Ha. That's that everyone says. So what if they have cold weather before the 15th like last year and then it warms up, like last year?

Then it will still be cold enough to blow Rime and Reason, just not lower Bunny.

The problem with the 10/15 date is that they won't be able to open until probably 10/18 (couple days blowing, day to drain) if they don't start any earlier than that. And 10/18 is a Monday. I'd think if they just said go any time they can, they'd be 50% to open on the 16th.
