MOUNT SNOW, Vermont -- Mount Snow is offering a special lodging and lift ticket package this weekend to celebrate the return of winter weather.
"We have great snowmaking temperatures in the forecast, and even some natural snowfall is predicted," says Meri Spicer, Vice President of Marketing and Branding. "People in the Northeastern United States may not have winter in their backyard, so we're inviting them over to ours."
The starting price of $99 per person per day includes lift ticket, breakfast and lodging at the slopeside Grand Summit Resort Hotel. Availability is limited and this offer is only valid for the nights of Friday and Saturday, January 19-20. Phone bookings only will be accepted for this offer. Interested parties need to call 1-800-245-SNOW to make their reservations.
Single digit temperatures are predicted this week, allowing snowmaking operations on the mountain to get over 40 trails ready for this weekend. Mount Snow has top to bottom terrain available for all skier and rider ability levels. There are two terrain parks open for freestylers, with some of the only natural jumps open in the Northeast. They will also begin offering tubing for the first time this season starting Saturday.
