Took a lot of arm twisting on my part to convince my kids of that fact. They just could not see the point in going to VT if they couldn't ski/board. I enticed them with fishing and hiking (huge boulders and waterfalls), but hooked them when a friend loaned us a couple of kayaks. They still prefer the skiing but will willingly head up for a few weekends in the summer.

We're looking forward to getting the mountain bikes up there. Our street is a long dirt road...and it just ends, but roughly continues through the woods. Maple Valley is litterly about 2 miles away, so we'll probably hike over there. It also helps that a few of the neighbors have ATVs, so I'm sure I'll be bringing my scoot up there eventually. Also, all the stuff that goes on in the Mt. Snow Valley. I'm looking forward to the "cooler" summer weather up there. I'm not a really big fan of hot summer weather. I do plan on taking a plastic lawn chair, plopping it in the stream out back and having a few beers in the stream. Ahhhh, white trashin' it! LOL!
