If these 2 kids showed up at MRG with skis, but dressed like boarders do you think would they be shunned?

Yes, I know all boarders don’t dress like this, but a lot of kids like to represent who they are, pants half way down their ass and all.

I like the girls outfit, not the boys though, not enough attitude.

A lot of skiers I know where Board Pants. In General there is much more style to choose from. Might snag it on a tree, though.

No they wouldn't be shunned..I'm sure there are alot of new school skiers at MRG on twin-tips who wear mad steezy clothes. On weeknights when it's mostly kids at Blue mountain..I feel like an Outkast wearing pants and a jacket that actually fit..the new style for 07-08 is oversized basketball jerseys over a hoodie..with fur pants...haha..in PA lots of people ski in jean jackets, leather jackets, and carhart hunting gear..funny shit fo shizzle..O.K. now I'm in the mood to bust a freestyle rap...

If you go to MRG
Bring your skeeze
And your steeze and cabot cheeze
If you're a boarder
the mountain is mad out of order
like a gumball machine not accepting your Canadian quarter
better wear duct-tape..and a superman cape
don't gape...ski right down chute..
in your rear entry boots..don't loot
respect the hill..act chill..
best view is by the window sill..not ill
but my rhymes are sick..safety meeting in the woods
where's my bic....Holla

I've never been turned away from from MRG or even looked at funny there and i've been wearing my Burton universe pants there for the past 8 years...maybe the duct tape on the knees and the lower parts makes it ok?

BUT, If anyone is that anal, they shouldn't go out in public, and should go back to high school where that fashion stuff actually "mattered" (HA!)

Nobody at MRG would care.

If anything, the MRG regular would laugh at such high fashion, then suggest they go to Sugarbush instead.

There's nothing wrong with these outfits. I prefer loose fitting clothes and so do many skiers.

I have a dream that one day clothes will be judged by the content of their insulation and not by the color of their shell material.

That being said, I cannot say one way or the other whether there is anything wrong or not with these outfits without knowing what they're made from and how.

As far as fit... I prefer clothing that fits and doesn't get in my way.

Function is #1.

Can't believe i'm positng in this thread. What a useless p.o.c thread. Who gives a ufck what people dress like on the mountain or what a certain mountain crowd would think of what people dress like. Why even bring it up?

I get the feeling that you could wear just about whatever clothes you wanted at MRG and most folks would be cool with it. Just watch out what you strap to your feet...

I have a dream that one day I will be judged only by the content of my ability to slide down a hill and not by my chosen method to do so... I have a dream.

Someday we will GO to the mountaintop my brother..
