Ha, That's a real old school looking truck in the pic from the summit. Fits right in.

Nice video but, they left out the truck? They wouldn't even have to pay me to drive that thing. It's gotta be pretty cool just wheelin around on the top of that place. I don't think that rig is all that old though mid to late 1980's prehaps?

Looks like it may be an old military duce-and-a-half that has been converted for this type of work. Probably from the early 70's. They just don't make 'em like they used to. :(

Probably more like a 5 ton 6x6.

Had to learn to drive one in the Army. Actually easier to drive than the deuce because they have power steering.

It is possible to drive up to the summit? I cannot see how it is possible.

A truck can climb Upper Antelope? That's amazing. Isn't it easily more than
20 degress steep?

Not sure. I don't think it's overly steep. Nonetheless, a pretty wild ride.

It's probably a 6 wheel drive converted military truck. So that make it a little easier to drive up. It's not as steep but they pulled a couple of cement trucks up Sugarloaf to pour the foundation for the new pump house. Where there is a will there is a way. :-D
