Once the trails bump up on the North Face, our legs thank us for the chance to ride the slow fixed grip chairs between runs. The north face is indeed a sweet little place at Mount Snow

How do the lines get over there? Personally, I'd rather rest my legs on a groomer than a slow lift! ;). That was the only lift yesterday that was not in the wind. Is that common?

Sorry it not as good as K or anything north of their. But when there fully open their is enjoyable gladed stuuf, and moguls. I think it beats Startton and Okemo but that is my opinion. Did you go to the Summit Hotel deli for lunch?
Wind is very common their that why they got the bubble chair ( heated couch)

North face doesn't really get long lines. Gladed stuff to the left of most expert trail on the face is very nice.

Lines are ususally short over there and lifts aften sheltered from wind. It's like having an old New England pod of skiing right inside a sh*t-show mega resort. The trails under the lifts (Freefall and Chute) sometimes get crowded with scrapers, but the trails to either side, esp. Olympic, Plummet, and Jaws are nearly empty even on the busiest Saturday. Trees to skiers left of Olympic are awesome as well.

Good to know. Maybe I will find a chance to give it another try.

It didn't seem too bad. Most everything was ski on except the bluebird, which was maybe 5-10 minutes.

I didn't take any photos but I enjoyed the long clear views. Many times I stopped to take it all in the north side looks over a lake and is very scenic also the end of the day featured some nice orangish skies while doing last runs looking over and down on the lodge area. Found a couple old pictures

Nice! It'll be really good if they get some natural snow this weekend. I'd love to start skiing the woods in a few weeks. Rumor has it, Sunbrook may open this weekend.

No rumor about Sunbrook - fact! Just waiting for the cats to finish spreading out the whales and the rope to drop! Snowmaking starting on Rollercoaster, Chute and Fallen Timbers today! And a bunch of trails including drop, yard sale, Charlie's Chase and lower Nitro happening very soon!
