Seems like there were a lot of injuries last season, riverc0il, BeanoNYC, and several others. Hopefully, AZers will remain injury free this season...

I'm not supersticious, except for maybe karma...

Anyway, I think it's a healthy topic to discuss. Take it easy out there everyone...

Broke my wrist two years ago, and my thumb last year. I thought I had just hyperextended it, but after two months when it was still getting pain my doc said I had messed it up pretty good and was suprised I hadnt come in earlier. High pain tolerance I guess.

That being said skiing is an inherently dangerous sport. I fall pretty hard every single day Im out on the hill. Im constantly trying to push the limits of what I can do and that is going to result in falls. Its all part of the game so I dont let injuries get me down.

I actually have an appointment with a surgeon tomorrow and another on Tuesday for this shoulder. They're now calling it a type V or VI AC separation where a typical AC separation lands within the first three degrees. I don't think the surgery will get done until next summer though.
