Oh yeah...forgot about the BEER thing  Threw back a Shipyard Export Ale last night while appropriately reading about RUMRUNNING in New England during Prohibition and then had a glass of Riesling with dinner.

Also saw Fever Pitch. Funny movie.

Saturday was last day of vacation to LA/Disneyland/San Diego...good times.

Came back Saturday night/Sunday morning on red eye flight, got less than 1 hour of sleep on the plane so most of Sunday was shot anyway...

Skiied Wildcat on Friday; sat around and looked at the rain hoping it would stop so I could hike Tucks on Sat/Sun...it didn't, I didn't.

Return trip planned for 2-3 weeks from today.

Um...it was a long ski season...and, um...

....I just realized I live with this woman...she told me we were married, which I now vaguely remember...and, um...well, I raked leaves...no, wait...I mountain biked...and, um...massaged that woman's feet while reading her Jane Austin...

Very nice picture!!! Got to love Jay. Look directly above Stateside's Summit and you can see Burke Mountain with the ski trails. Actually, it is directly above the gentleman's head (sunglasses, gray jacket).

It's a joke...you called me a gentlman...never mind

Anyway that's the group...you can see kitzbueleh on the other peek.

Non groomed natural trail with a doubble fall line...it's the one that splits near the top..just to the left of the glades...

The whole group made it down...it took awhile....should have asked first...

Hey but made everything else seem much easier to them

But I promised the middle kid we wouldn't do that one again....I went back with the boy after the girls quit near the end of the day...

Getting back from that peek to the tram base is a pain though...they need to cut some different trails...

great mountain overall though...think I might try the slopeside condos next year...kids ski and stay free (up to 16?)

Got it with the joke...thanks for clarifying :)

Yes, Kitzbuehl is a great trail. I've always found it to have thin cover, which is kind of ironic considering that it is at JAY.

It can be hard to ski from Stateside to the Tram Base in one run, but do-able. Just take a right at the top of the triple down to Vermonter and then cut over Taxi (I think) across Can Am/Bonaventure to the bottom of Goat Run.

Nope...just Jet

Funny thing though...when I got to the entrace of CanAm they had a sign...should've took a picture...

"Advanced Expert skiing only. You had better because it's a long, long fall down this trail. Don't even think of taking your family or wife down this trail. You will regret it"

I kid you not.
