Regardless of what happened in the fight, they're both idiots for letting it get to that point in the first place.

Very true, but haven't we all been idiots at some point in our lives???? Wether it involved going to blows or not we've all done things we're not proud of, and I'm sure, if not already, these kids will realize just how stupid that act really was.....just sayin'

I am gonna disagree. He was trying to walk away and the other guy wouldn't stop. He solved it. the sucker punch was the third guy in who came in kicking. If there is a fight, let them fight, don't have you buddies jump in and help.

That's how I saw it too. The dude coming with that little kick move was pretty lame, he backed off when he realized that the dude could kick his ass too...

With all the fight digest and punching technique advice going on here... we should rename this thread to "How to beat up on snowboarders" and make it a sticky.

One should never hit a snowboarder...simply run over their head with your skis:razz:

I guess the guidos are spreading.

Damn! They finaly made it to Utah.
Funny thing is that I almost did this to the guy who aired right off the top of Hellgate and landed right on my wife who was the ONLY one going down the slope. Too many witnesses for me to pound the guy. But they all did back me up. My wife was very lucky she wasn't killed, tough Norwegian. She now hates Hellgate.

Nice hit? That was a freakin sucker punch.

Sucket punch? where the heck did you grow up? It looked like a good hit to me. I dont understand why he ever gave the guy a chance to get up.

We live in a rather violent society. So, it's then not surprising that it makes it onto the slopes. It's just a refelection of who we are. Violence and machismo are glorified in our culture in so many ways, it's casual, often justified and accepted.
Quite a few members of this apparently like it - see all the "good hit" cooments :)
Restraint and self control are seen as weak.

From what's seen on the clip, the kid who threw that "good" puch, could have kept on walking away without retribution.

Are you sure about that. As soon as the other guy pushed him its time to protect yourself. You noticed how he got uphill of the guy before he dropped the hammer. BLAM NICE HIT

I don't agree with that. To me it appeared that the 1st punch guy was trying to walk away, but the other guy kept blocking him and getting in his face.
