I don't know how you sprain an ankle skiing, given the rigidity of ski boots, but somehow I managed to this weekend @ Magic. Looks like my season is ending a bit earlier than I'd hoped!

Tape that thing up and get out there! ;-)

That stinks man. I have bad ankle from playing lax since forever. Hope you can squeeze another day in and end on a high note.

I'd love to get another run in, but right now it hurts if I try to put any pressure on it, let alone walk, so I don't think another day is in the cards.

Sorry MRG. I know that feeling all too well. The worst part is that trying to push it could have you laid up into the spring or worse yet the summer.

Happens more than you think...especially since the advent of shaped skis.

Tip those skis sooner than you want to and the ski whips into a turn when you're not prepared. Ankle gets jacked easily under those circumstances.

I have a bad ankle from playing basketball on a bad surface several years ago. It sprains easily, sometimes when I just come down wrong. But I've never sprained it skiing. I wear an ankle brace and clamp the buckles tight on that ankle. Of course my sprain is lower than yours, so maybe that wouldn't help, but it certainly wouldn't hurt.

My shoulder is killing me this week..
Not sure if it was my high speed ragdolling down 44 at Hunter or snowshoveling..

Thanks for the support, guys :'(

Higher up, Aj, closer to shin than foot.

That's annoying...harder to tape in my experience but less likely a long term nagging injury.
R-I-C-E it out man. two weeks and you are back.

I feel great!

But then again, I've got metal plates and bolts holding my legs together.

So, at one time, I felt alot worse than anyone here.

But not today!
