That's the only down side to a Pat's pass .. they close the last weekend of March no matter what the base condition is on the trails. I know Crotched closed last year because people quit coming.
IIRC Pats Peak never opens before the first week of December and always closes by the last week of March. By comparison, Crotched may go a few weeks before and after that. You had more experience earlier in the year going to Pat's. How's their snowmaking early on. They certainly don't have the arsenal of snowguns Crotched has. Still waiting on season passes for next year until Peak resorts figures out their new mountains and if there will be any sort of a cross-mountain pass.

My only November ski experience was at Crotched last season (November 2005)...we had a cold stretch during a few days before Thanksgiving and they made enough snow to have a few trails open.
The main reason I'd pick a Crotched pass at this point would be if it was a good multi-mountain pass...IMO their season isn't that much longer than Pats.
I really believe Crotched would stay open longer into April if the people keep coming too...
