You may want to clarify this, TB... Before someone accuses you of cradle robbing.;)

 She is graduating from her MASTERS program and WON'T be a University Student anymore. So no more student deals.

i haven't even started planning next week, let alone next month, let alone next season! it is just getting started folks!
Figured you would say that...;)

It just seems that the "best" deals on season passes are out about now, so unfortunately one has to think about it. :???:

www.allforonepass.com/ the rumors seem true. Friday 1st day for the all4one
I'll buy mine Friday.

I screen caputured that link for later use. Here is the claim: "We're offering fewer passes than were sold last year and fully expect passes at all levels to sell out." I'll beleive it when I see them turn money away.

Andyzee is correct that the silver and bronzes did sell out last year.

Anyway i plan on getting a Bronze for myself, my wife, and my parents on Friday.

Looks like we've got out invite in the mail today. Yep, according to the letter, it says the price for the Bronze is $399 until May 2, then they're gonna increase.....to what, who knows...... :( We'll probably be buying ours early, as well. Let's just hope next season is better. I'm just about ready to give it up, if the weather continues like this.....don't get me wrong, I really don't want to, but.....I hate paying for something I can't get more use out of.

Wait just one minute! I haven't seen it yet, but my wife tells me we got our renewal as well and the prices she saw are:

Bronze 365
Silver 419
Gold 619

People on Kzone have gotten the same mail. Maybe they send you last years prices? I wouldn't put such a screw up past ASC :)

I have the college season pass for Sunapee/Gunstock/Cannon this year. Great deal. But I wonder if you guys have any recommendation for any other reasonably inexpensive passes out there. How's the Threedom pass? Any resort within a day-trip distance from Boston with good passes?

Surprised I have not run into you on the slopes. Have the same pass.

Okay, I just looked at our price sheet. Seems my wife is looking at the Super Senior Pass prices. All I know is that I am not eligible for the Super Senior pass. I'll have to stick with the bronze pass. I am a gonna rib her about the pass she seems to be eligible for!!!!

WHACK!!!! uphillklimber gets it in the back of the head.

OK, that's better, thought they were trying to screw me and you got a special deal! :) You looking at nursing homes for her yet? :)

Next year will be similar to this year for me. Looking at Sugarbush/MRG (earlier, so I don't get screwed again), Killington (a bit earlier as well), Burke, Beast, Ragged, and Sunapee, and Stowe or Smuggs. Hope the weather cooperates next year. I think this is how it will play out:

November: Killington
December: Whoever has the best snow out of Sunapee, Ragged, and Beast
January: MRV and another one of the above 3
February: Burke, and the 3rd of the above 3
March: Killington, Smuggs/Stowe

It's kind of like this year, which will play out as:

December: Mount Snow (not next year)
January: Sunapee, Waterville (also a possibility for next year)
February: Jiminy (not next year)
March: Smuggs, Sugarbush/MRG (it WILL happen, believe me)
April: Killington

They do specify that the price on the Gold pass will go up a minimum of $100 after May 2. Judging by past pricing, I don't think that the Bronze and Silver will go up more then $40, actually I think it may be more like $20. I think they just put the $100 increase out there as an incentive for people to renew early.

$365 is a fair/good price for the bronze. IMO.
For just a little more the Silver is a decent price also, but any black out days I would be at a booth creek resort with my family. No need.
I think the early release of the passes will help them against other resorts that are selling passes already.... also may help the bottom line right know.
Last year I think they were a bit late into the game.
The advertising of snow making going back on line at some ASC resorts times nicely with passes going on sale.
