Would love to as the place has a great reputation as being a hardcore little mountain. Unlikely I ever ski it though. If I motivating to drive five hours, it would be to White Face, though that's closer to six with the ferry ride.

I always hit Platt at least 3 to 4 times a season. They have to get dumped on though as they don't make very much. Very rocky so if its thin bring the rock skis. Right now they are hurting, but had almost 2 feet a few weeks ago. As far as distance from Hunter, depends on how you come. They are about 30 minutes north of Belleayre.

3.5 hours from where I live but I'd like to hit it sometime..in good snow..it's more interesting to me than Hunter..
