With all this talk of skiing--people asking where are the best Spring conditions, bumps, etc., I wonder if anyone is tracking this storm that's dumping rain all over New England. Will any ski mountain get more snow than rain?

It's absolutely pouring here in Billerica, MA right now.....

Even Sugarloaf is forecast for a mix of rain and snow thru the weekend with temps in mid-30s during the day.......Greg - bring those rock skis to reggae fest.....

Arggghhhh! Sunday River is also getting the rain. Wish I had rock skis! Margarita Madness Mix Off it is! I am so depressed I could cry! Alcohol will definitely help! Anyone else going up for Parrot Weekend? I guess my skis could pond skim. Yeah right?!

There's a possibility that from the NH border and points north could get 7-9" of heavy concrete. Of course that's after about 1-2" of rain today and tomorrow. Some colder air is going to try to sneak in here on Thurs night into Fri AM making the changeover.

Cannon's Elevation makes it a contender for snow however they close on the fourth so thats out. My best bet for snowfall would be wildcat or stowe or sugarloaf. Jay as well, but I think they will most likely get some snow out of this event. There will also be lots of ran to. To bad....

I am interested to find out how much damage this rain has caused to Jiminy Peak and Ski Butternut. Both are closed until Saturday.

Not sure about Jiminy, but I can tell you based on my experience at Butternut on Sunday, I'll be surprised if they'll open with more than the quad on Lucifer's/Hob Nob and Applejack, if that.
