One thing you can say about the big brand name ski outfitting companies is they make damn good quality stuff; it lasts a long time.

No doubt about that.... I'm definitely not the "replace the gear for fashion" type... I've got dark gray Coloumbia Titanium ski pants that I've had for probablly 12 years, a blue and light gray Mountain Hardware jacket for probably 6 or 7 years. I do have 2 pairs of gloves and a back up pair of pants as well as a Marmot "precip" jacket for warmer days. About the only things I replace with any frequency are socks and hats. As jayw said... the stuff does last... I wouldn't be surprised if i have 300+ days in the pants.

My wife on the other hand... she would buy a new jacket and pants twice a year.... she doesn't, but she would (and did for a couple of years pre-kids)

Marty is an ESA Student from Las Vegas. Imagine that! a chick from Vegas with a rhinestone belt and a gold jacket!

Annie is an amazing ski coach from Keystone that kicks ass and doesn't bother to take names.

And Me, well, I think I go without explanation. :)

Needless to say, we had fun........lots and lots of fun!

WD, I was going to treat myself to something from Aspen but gulped hard and said, "TC you gotz lotz of stuff you'd rather spend 1000.00 on"

You'll be happy to know that all of the outfits above were not bought at Aspen and were not bought at retail pricing. :D
