I'd say probably about half the times skis/poles are stolen it is by mistake. I remember one time my wife saw someone grabbing her board so we ran out there and the girl had the same board a rack over and just grabbed my wife's by mistake.
Lol I almost assaulted someone . Way back machine I had Rossignol ROC’s with Saloman 202’s and straps. I walked out of the lodge over to the rack where I had left my skis . Someone was holding up “my” skis and inspecting them carefully. I lined up for a kick to the perps shin. I glanced over and saw a identical pair , same length as well. We both had a good laugh.

Used to lock or split skiis with a friend. Now I guess I rely on my funky NTN bindings to deter them. Sort of like manual transmission as a theft deterrent.

Just spray paint your skis and no one will want them. They'll still ski the same.
I remember Ski Mart engraving your SS # on your new skis in the 80's....
Guess we didn't have identity theft back then

Hey Cole,
Why do your questions all require an answer IF I do not own a lock ????
You need to add N/A as another choice, or all your data will be flawed by folks being forced to pick an incorrect response just to complete the survey
The question you are referring to should be optional- if not, alterations have been made to resolve that issue since you took the survey. Thanks for reaching out
