Laser out Live and replace with Ski and you’re set.

Ha while that would be sweet there are two problems. I love NH to much to accept anything else ... and I snowboard.

Bump. Still ink free. Probably the only tattoo I might consider would be something related to my daughters or perhaps skiing. Anyone ever see a cool skier tribal tattoo? Or are tribals so 1998?

Anyone have any ski related ink on their bodies? I know a K2 rep at Whiteface who has their logo tattooed on him. I think it’s a bit much myself. What if he switched companies?

No...I think tattoos are trashy...it seems like all the girls I've gone out with lately either have a little butterfly tattoo or a tramp-stamp above their asscrack..

I thought about starting up a thread regarding tattoos on Saturday after I had my half sleeve finished (2 sessions totalling 7 hours) Although I have 4, no skiing related tats. My wife and bank account now have you to blame for future depletion of funds. Always thinking about the next tat... kinda like ski days.

Do you have a half-sleeve due to your job??

Call me trashy then!

I don't have any skiing-related ink. But like Grassi said, mine represent times in my life... sort of a traveling scrapbook. :) I have a tribal dolphin on my left ankle that I got 2 months after I got married (I had a little identity crisis and was trying to reclaim my independence) and a Celtic mother's heart at the nape of my neck that helped me heal after my miscarriage 4 years ago.

Another tat is not out of the question, but it would have to be special.

I grew up in an era where only bad girls wore tattoos, especially those who worked on the streets. I'm not calling you any of that. I'm pointing out it's simply a matter of perspective. I think the human body is a wonderfully beautiful thing, but I like it a-la-natural. I juxtapose that against the fact that people have been decorating their bodies since ancient times. I know great people with tattoos. It's just a matter of what I consider attractive. Different strokes for different folks - nothing wrong, just different!

When I first got it done I was thinking about my job. At this point I am considering continuing it on down to the wrist. I probably won't have work done in the next 2 years or so. But it will most likely happen.

1998 it is.

PS - I'm not trying to be a tattoo snob. I have seen some really cool tribals. The number of tribal tats inked in the late 90s was disturbing.

I only have 1..not skiing related. Its a pink rose and a blue rose intertwined with vine with my sons name above it and my daughters name below it. Its about 5" x 4" and on my left leg. I love them and cant wait to get more.

I have drawn up my next one which a tribute tattoo to my dad...its his portrait of him sitting on the back of his boat holding a tuna..he was an avid fisherman. I wanted to get it between my shoulder blades, but its going to cost a huge amount of money and it is going to be HUGE!! I think i may just go with a marlin from the back of my neck down to between my shoulder blades with some kind of wording...it would be a portrait of a marlin he caught down in the carribean and is now mounted in his house.

My husband is my biggest obstacle to me getting another one. He hates them, especially on women. Oh well....its my body, not his.

Mine doesn't like them either. Still, I have 2. ;)

Both of my tats are all black... and I don't care if anyone thinks they are/were "trendy." They have special meaning to me.

To each his/her own.

None on me, not my thing - I just can't get over the thought of what it would look like decades from now when it's faded and on a piece of my then saggy skin 70 year old body  :puke:

On a side note, I definatey notice that amongst my patients, the more visible tats/piercings they have, the more they claim to be needle phobic  I definately call them on their BS with that one though :)
