Can't see this being a bad thing at all. Looks like the majority of the new slide happened between Slide 2 and Slide 3 so essentially what might have been tree skiing and a little opening at the bottom to bail out of Slide 2 is now essentially a brand new Slide option. HPD, correct me if I am wrong there? The photo above moves the "3" to the left in the after picture making it look like Slide 3 is actually the new path, no?

Slide three and four r one in the same now. Should open up some cool drops.

The pictures above don't support this. It would be a shame if you are correct, though. Slide 3 was simply awesome because it wasn't wide open at the top.... very very nice terrain in Slide 3. Would be a terrible shame if it is "merged" with Slide 4.

Your correct. I did not look very close. It looks like we have a three a and b now.

yup, appears to be 5 slides now, with the middle newest one being as wide as Slide #1 if not wider.

Wonder if someday it ends up just being one giant bowl. Call it the Adirondack Bowl. The marketing department will eat that up :spin:

Despite my negativity, I cant get over how this is pretty damn cool.

Wildfires have made for some interesting skiing out here, but rarely does something like this happen, especially in bounds.

I keep reading from people, definately in the know, that 3 and 4 are merged as one. I don't see it, but there must be something to it. A friend of mine said maybe it comes together at the bottom section that is out of sight from the base. He hasn't been up there yet to know for sure. However, like I said, there are people at WF who are right on top of the situation who say 3 and 4 are together.

That's what Bill B. told me, to him it looks like there are 2 entrances to slide 3.
