Today, it flurried for a good 15 minutes around noon. I saw it in Spencer and have reoports from Leicester, East Brookfield, and West Brookfield.

Don't know about the Worcester Co area but my car thermomenter read 45 on the way to work this morning in Southern RI, and it usually reads a degree or two too warm.

It was snowing (spitting flakes) in Ware, MA at around noon today too! I just got home form work so I am just able to post this...someone beat me to it. BTW-nothing stuck, no coating, no nothing, but it was NICE to see the flakes.

When's the last year it's snowed in September in Massachusetts? I don't think I can remember any time.

Hold your horses, Greg, and wait until that first hard frost or snowfall. It's still only early Fall and I am playing golf tomorrow......could be the last time till Spring......

must have been grapple

Hello All!!

I havent been on here in a while! Graduated law school, took the bar, moved out of mass, waiting for my results, and opened a title searching/abstracting company in Fairfield County CT. Have done a lot of travel and finally saw the beautiful hills of Litchfield County where so many of you live.

In terms of snow in mass, what you most likely saw is some type of grapple, or sleet. It also could have been some small hail as the upper atmosphere the past two days has been very cold with an upper level low going over head.

It was unlikely snow, especially with the lower atmosphere so warm, but it was definately a sign of changing weather as we approach fall.

I hope you all are doing well, and if any of you CTers out there wanna plan some trips for later in the winter or over xmas, let me know, I am game.

Joshua
