Whiteface is to the right, but covered by clouds.
This shot is updated every hour, so it may have melted by the time you see it.

Hey HPD,

RSN is up and running but the posts are few. Is this because no one can stand the new format?

Probably, they where shut down for 9 months to fix their forum and that is the format they come back with. It is bad.

Hey Oneoftwo, what was your handle at RSN?

Not everybody Greg. When Willy and I run into Ghostrider would you like us to try to talk him into posting here?
Anyone is welcome. I know you guys understand how we differ from the RSN boards... ;)

Hey HPD,

I never posted on RSN. A friend of mine told me about the forum a couple of years ago. He is a member. I used to check it daily to get a good laugh. The Adirondack RSN regular “posters” all seem to know each other. Most forums are very politically correct and I think that is fine but the Adirondack RSN regulars appears to be a bunch of friends haveing fun roosting each other and that’s OK too. Actually I miss it.

I checked out WT’s new site. It is much better but did I miss something last year, like a lot of natural snow? On their Mountain Stats page the said. “Last year we recorded 193” of total snowfall at the base of the mountain. On average we receive 168" yearly.” I recall a cold winter but not a lot of natural snow.
