Tomorrow is going to be a great morning with all the snowmaking stoke. I suspect AZ will be busy as all hell starting this week.

I'm thinkin' Mount Peter in NY will start making snow tonight or tomorrow, their website says they are hoping to open late November. I'm hoping they do because they're only a half hour away from me. It seems early for an area near the border of NJ but they were the first to open in the area last winter too.

From the MT Snow report:

We are making snow, and lots of it. The guns are on from top to bottom and have been throughout the night. Our snowmakers turned on the first set of guns at the summit as early as 4pm yesterday. I couldn’t believe it. I mean, after all of this warm, humid… and downright depressing weather, we’re finally able to fire up those impressive fanguns. The weather for the rest of the week looks incredible. Go ahead, see for yourself. I’ll wait.

And… we’re back. Now that we’re both on the same page, how ‘bout those temps?? Mmm, nice ‘n cold all week long. We’ll be making snow throughout the week in preparation for some top to bottom skiing on opening day, which by the way, is Saturday, the 22nd. Just keep in mind, variety is the spice of life and Mount Snow likes spicy.

Do we have an indusrty rep on here? ( I thought we did)

That would be cool. Maybe myself and the other members of the AZ Mt. Snow crew could ask on the season pass holder site......

And it looksl ike the fans are still cranking. They even fixed the Carinthia Camera! :flag:

Meri Spicer participated a lot. Luke is MountSnowReporter, but he's not on as much as Meri was.
