Maybe they lost a snowmaking pipe. There isn't enough snow up top where they made snow to open yet as well. Wonder whats going on?

Fan gun running again down the bottom of Standard @ 2:30. I tell you, no problems, they know what they're doing, and while a good chunk of Canyon/Standard is offline right now, my guess is that there's a couple of other trails not in webcam view that have fully charged water lines and are pumping out the snow :snow:

Hopefully we'll get an update on their website soon after the usual 2PM snowplan meeting that they have daily :)

My guess is they'll be rolling out on Saturday AM the following:

Launch Pad, Upper Canyon to Standard, Deer Run top to bottom, Upper Nitro to Lower Titanium with a park, Mineshaft to either Vermonster or Inferno with a park, and then either Snowdance or Lodge to Lower Exhibition.

By Turkey day if the forcast stays snowmaking favorable, atleast the additions of River Run and either Chute or Fallen Timbers on the Northface and Ridge/Meadow to Shootout on the Main Face will be added. Mount Snow's current snowmaking achilles heel, their water supply, will come into play though IMHO. My guess is they blow the snot out of the hill until Friday Night, then probably based on previous years snowmaking efforts, take the weekend off from blowing snow for pond refilling, and then resume Sunday night(I really hope I'm wrong about the pond refilling snowmaking break though)

Sunday River has started making snow in the South Ridge jib park (at least I think that's what that trail is):

I gotta say those Killington pics are much more impressive than the Sunday River ones.

Killington's going frickin' hardcore. Already making snow at Ramshead and Skye Peak.

Might have maxed out their pump capacity on Killington and Snowdon, and using up the rest of the supply capacity on the other two mountains at this point. But in any case, looking like another late November from last year with the way they're going; gotta figure in another foot or so of natural to help them out, too...

I showed my wife this pic. She wasn't overly impressed. When I showed it to my 5 year old, she asked, "Wow! .Which one is Castlerock?"
