It has it's own thread, but WA is up and running tonight. Say they are going to have 3 trails and 2 lifts going for Saturday.

They're still blasting away at the top of Mt. Snow. Must be just enought cold air to keep things going.

Wow..it would be sweet if there was a stat that showed how many guns were going throughout the northeast..when I'm a moderator, I'll look into getting a feature like that implemented into AZ..I'll probably need an assistant and AndyZee would be perfect.

Guns are online at Killington all the way down to the K1 base. Expansion over the past opening is also going on Mouse Trap and Great Northern around "Middle Chute". Guns are set up everywhere from Skye Peak down, Chute top to bottom, Vail trail, Highline and everywhere around the base. Killington has got a head start on every other resort in NE, so I would expect a bunch of terrain open this weekend. It will be interesting to see just how many guns they get going tonight? Maybe Spinmaster will chime in later on.

Yesterday - my son and our dog hiked to the gondola summit at Loon. There was a ton of water running all over the mountain - given the volume, it will present some problems I assume. Loon had the guns all set-up and ready to go. another observation - I couldn't believe how the all the slopes we hiked are covered in grass - almost no rocks - must be relatively easy to open with relatively small base depths. we drove up to cannon afterwards and it was starting to snow there. had not realized you get a 1,000'+ elevation increase - temp dropped 7-8 degrees in the 10 miles. one other comment - Loon must need alot of natural snow to get the woods open - Mel's run or something - pretty tight and steep and cluttered in there.

Is sugarloaf making snow on other trails besides tote road? Tote roads a good start but you'd think they'd at least blow on another trail.
