Looking to make a mid-week/weekend trek to Stowe for a couple of days. Anyone know of any discount ticket deals? Multi-day passes are still in the $75+ range......probably going to do a 2-3 day trip hopefully some time in February.

Are you a member of a ski club? They do club appreciation weeks where tickets are like $130 for a 3 day ticket.

Hit up craigslist. I've scored a lot of tickets from non-skiers who got them through their company or from skiiers who simply can't use them.

copy and paste this into google:

Good idea.....I'll check that out as we get closer. Nothing really up there now.

I've pushed them plenty, but the VT travel club card is one of the only significant avenues to savings at Stowe I've seen. $62 1-day ($40 spring season), $117 2-days. Of course, the cost of the card is $40, but I've found it well worth it.

FYI...I picked up a voucher for a Stowe Points Card for $16 on CL the other day. I spoke to a few employees at Stowe recently and they all say that there is no plan to let the card expire. Meaning...the card will be good for the next few years. Keeping my fingers crossed for that!

Wow, $16?! Looks like they go for $75 on their site.

I lucked out with my trip. Did the VT Travel club, so $59 for Monday (2/1) and the Tuesday was woodchuck day, so $39 tickets! Then I'll use the Travel Club card for a 4-day ticket to Jay in early March.

I thought the points card was a once-a-year thing. No? I'd better look.

If you don't want a points card, find a season's pass holder. They can buy you a ticket at Stowe Points pricing. I found this was a better deal than Liftopia prices, which seem to be the runner-up price-wise for last-minute tix. Stowe just started using Liftopia for 1 and 2 day tickets this year.

Sounds like you're already set, but we stayed at the Stowe Inn and received vouchers redeemable for Stowe Points cards included with our rooms. Didn't have to pay anything extra for this "ski and stay" package.
