Yeah theres about 5 or 6 different Stowe TRs on TGR. Crazy good snow.

I am wondering why they're not going full out with snowmaking to build on top of that excellent base....?!?
It seems like wasting a great opportunity.

With the price they charge for a lift ticket, they don't care about extended seasons, they make enough during the normal season.

Well, it wont last if they dont build on top of it.... (unless they keep getting snow, not very unlikely).

Stowe isn't really interested in making money. They are owned by one of the largest insurance companies in the world and are basically happy to show a loss to offset taxes they should pay, but often don't due to illegally funneling money thru ficticious off shore companies like Coral Re. They were being investigated, but hired private investigators to muck rake the federal employee's personal lives. The Federal investigators basically told their bosses they refused to continue due to the harrasment they were experienceing. Since then the criminal investigation had stalled...Then New York came along. Another reason for me to NOT giving them 1500 bucks a season, and another reason I take pride in tracking the $hit outta everything, prelift op. during the season....ooops, got ranting there, didn't I.
