Okay, we've all had them, you know the kind where you're not really paying attention to something that you've done 1000 times before and all of the sudden whammo!

So myself, I was just a couple of minutes ago going to check a patient in one of my hygienists rooms. Here's the thing, I'm 6'3" and she's 5'0", so she keep the height of her chair just a bit lower than I keep mine. I sit in this shortened chair many times a day at work and have for the last 5+ years, but for some reason today I go to sit down and my left leg moves the wrong way and I really pulled one of the muscles that control the lateral movements of my left hip :(

So now I'm gimping around the office, 1/2 mad at myself for not paying attention and 1/2 laughing at myself for having a "sitting" injury

Sitting at my desk, elbow on the desk and chin in hand reading a document on my monitor..... then the back of my leg hits the lever under my chair seat just right so my chair immediately sinks to the lowest setting, I nearly ripped the nose off my face as my chin slipped from its fist-perch and slid up my face. This from the gal who glued her mouth shut with super glue taking the cap off with my teeth. I really need to be more careful.

Building my first house, flattened my thumb with a framing hammer so bad, blood shot out all over the place, broke the nail in a million pieces. Hurts just to think about it!

Or the time I was building walls with a pneumatic framing nailer, and shot a framing nail through the first joint of my pointer finger. Still doesn't bend all the way.

Or... too many to list!

I won't tell you how stupid I felt when I walked into an outrigger on a backhoe needing 2 stitches in my head. Only two stitches, but you shoulda seen all the blood. How long have the outriggers been on the backhoe? FOREVER!!!

Couldn't sit down for the rest of the day.
