Sounds like a great deal. I was surprised how reasonable I can find tickets. I thought SB was a mega resort like Stowe or Kmart. It seems more laid back, but I could be wrong.

The long term forecast doesn't have much snow in the mix. Does it ski alright without fresh snow?

It's comparable skiing wise but not as "big" in terms of lodging and nightlife. But you won't have a problem finding a good restaurant.

Unrelated to lodging but they opened a new restaurant where the den used to be. It's called blue stone and apparently there's another one in Waterbury. I'm there right now and the beer selection is glorious. I'll let you guys know how the food is.

Tonight is their official opening night. Looking forward to hearing reviews and eventually visiting.

Had the Mac and cheese with bbq pork and crispy onion strings. It was good, didn't get a whole lot of bbq flavor. The beer list was excellent and the whole meal with 2 beers was like 30 bucks. I will definitely go back

Here's the beer list

Just stayed 2 nights at White Horse Inn. Very comfy place with excellent cleanliness, great breakfast (included) and nice onsite owners. Cost us (2 guys) less than $60 each per night. Definitely recommended and right down the road from all 3 ski areas.
